xoxoDaniellexoxo Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Ok people what are the fashion/beauty trends that you think are ugly or confusing???? Male or female trends are welcome!!
Ddeepprreesseedd Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Anything baggy, shapeless, torn, polyester(y), and generally that looks like a piece of sheet or wallpaper. Another pet peeve: any shoes that damage foot in a long run. All faux jewelry.
Casablanca Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Crocks and ugg boots, both are ugly as sin...and dont get me started on wedding trends
Author xoxoDaniellexoxo Posted August 14, 2011 Author Posted August 14, 2011 Crocks and ugg boots, both are ugly as sin...and dont get me started on wedding trends Haha oh well I don't look at wedding things!! Haha when I am in a wedding I am the one who calms people down!!
Feelin Frisky Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 No surprise here but tattoos, piercings other than ears--tongue rivets, clit hood and belly button studs, etc. Fu_k, I can't stand that. And not that anyone sees this in public, but a shaved snatch instantly makes me feel like someone's been moon-lighting on the Internet with a camera. Other than that the others extremes of poor taste in dress mentioned above.
threebyfate Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Torn leggings or hose (looks like a drunk or coked up hooker).Long faux-furred leg warmers (don't be cheap, buy yourself a decent pair of boots if you're cold and if you're not, you're probably not a professional dancer who needs to keep her calves warmed).Black eyeliner that's 1/8" or greater in thickness (who the hell punched you out and gave you black eyes?).People who wear skinny jeans who shouldn't be wearing skinny jeans. There's plenty more where the above four come from but I'm too lazy to write them all down.
Pierre Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Women that are not overweight, however wear very tight jeans very low on the hips causing a love handle where there would not be any if the jeans were not so tight.
Author xoxoDaniellexoxo Posted August 14, 2011 Author Posted August 14, 2011 Guys please stop over-spraying cologne!!! If it helps spray like two pumps in front of you and walk through it!!
zengirl Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Some of these aren't really "trends" are they? Are we defining what counts as a trend? I think this trend is not hot anymore really, but I really hated the sweatpants (particularly with the matching jackets) or velour sweat suit type things worn out and about regularly, particularly the ones with words on the butt. I think having a fancy sweatsuit is moronic. I don't know if it counts as a trend, but I think stilettos are retarded, particularly when you see women who can't walk going out to clubs and keeping each other up for balance/being held up by a man for balance. The whole 90s grunge scene trend bugged me, and it's sort of coming back (I'm fine with some plaid, but wear clothes that fit!). Skinny jeans on men is a hipster trend I can't get on board with, unless the guy is gay, and then I'm fine with it. I kind of hate man-bags, but I'll give them a pass in a metro area where guys don't use cars. Someone told me shoulder pads are coming back, but I don't buy it. . . And actually. . . Diamond wedding rings! I guess not a trend since it's been around for quite sometime now, but I think they look stupid and real diamonds usually involve cruelty/synthetic diamonds seem cheap, and I just don't understand why they've caught on so well over the years.

Those sweats are still kind of in lol!! I NEVER wear sweats unless I am in the gym, they make me feel lazy. I always think gemstone rings are more unique and intresting!!
Dust Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Guys please stop over-spraying cologne!!! If it helps spray like two pumps in front of you and walk through it!! I wouldn’t call that a trend. Though I agree with you, I really hate it when guys do this. I yelled at my friend once because he sprayed himself up with so much cologne my bathroom smelled that way for days.
Feelin Frisky Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 When I see a guy with a bandana under a baseball hat that is on half-assed or some dip-shi+ with the size sticker still on the bill of the cap I just have to make that teeth-sucking sound. Or how 'bout a wool cap worn indoors. It's the decline of western civilization.
Author xoxoDaniellexoxo Posted August 14, 2011 Author Posted August 14, 2011 I wouldn’t call that a trend. Ok then here is one, Men who get their ears pierced MORE THAN Once!! I can see like a stud(don't really like it but oh well) but how many earrings does one person need?? And the cartigle piercing is the WORST!! I don't even have one!

That one can be annoying to look at. Still the cologne thing really bothers me. Like when I’m at the movie theatre and some teenage boy sits two rows in front of me but smells like he just sprayed me in the face with ax.

Yeah I start sneezing and coughing and eventually have to move. But the earrings??? WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! It is sooo dumb!!

SmileFace Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Oh the muffin top So, the muffin top is the trend?

ptp Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Metrosexual look for guys I blame romantic comedies for this. The hero in the movie has everything waxed of and his chest looks like a 9 year old boy's chest. Women go nuts for the guy and think thats what guys should look like. Then you see paparazzi pictures and the dude is hairy as wolverine.

You don't like Facebook, yet you don't like Anonymous either? These guys should have your support, they hate Facebook too!
threebyfate Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 You don't like Facebook, yet you don't like Anonymous either? These guys should have your support, they hate Facebook too! From what I recall, they aborted their attack on Facebook since they claimed to be "for the people" so why would they attack millions of innocent people they claim to stand for?

The girl in the movie has everything waxed of and her snatch looks like a 9 year old girl's vagina. Men go nuts for the girl and think thats what girls should look like. ...............
Disillusioned Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 One trend I don't understand at all has been "in" for about 2 years now. I've seen a lot of men and women in their 20s and 30s with this hairstyle that looks like someone just dumped a bucket of water over their head. Is it called the "drenched" look?
