k100danny Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 I have been with my girlfriend for just over two months but the date we actually class us as becoming a couple will be next week. we have had a couple of disagreements so far that we have both worked out and handled well as i think we are good at communicating anyway. we are going out for a meal on the date that will be two months we have been together, this isnt an anniversary type thing as i think two months is a very short time it has just worked out that we will be going out for dinner that nights. She stays over at mine or we stay at hers on the nights we get to spend together and i was thinking of doing something romantic but didnt want to go over the top so i had a few ideas and i wonder if some of the women on the forum could tell me if any of these are over the top ? cover my bed in rose petals and leave one single rose on her pillow with a letter telling her i how much i care. I thought this was a ncie idea but she may think im asking her to mary her and run haha. get her favourite bottle of wine chilled in the bedroom and leave one single rose and the letter. roses and chocolates, no letter im thinking something along these lines but im not too sure if it is over the top, she likes romantic gestures but i dont want to appear too full on. i suppose i could kind of make it lighthearted so she knows im not trying to move things really fast. any help much appreciated. thanks in advance.
triphopper414 Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 As a woman, I would like the roses and chocolates and a little note saying something 'you are beautiful,' 'I feel lucky to be with you' etc. You can toss the chilled beverage in there too. Now, if you want to cover the bed in roses, that will definitely give off the impression that you want to make love. I don't know if that is what your plans are, but that is what this actual typically conveys. It is romantic as well. Women love romance as long as it is done properly, nothing cheesy like the heart shaped bed or anything that would embarrass her.
