missguided219 Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Hi I've never used one of these forums before, but I'm just quite confused about this guy I'm seeing and would appreciate some advice. Basically, we met just over a week ago at a club, and spent the night dancing and kissing, he asked for my number and made sure I got home safe. He texted the next day and we were texting for the next few days, and he suggested we meet for drinks. So we went out and I had a really good time, and I think he did aswell, and he drove me home. But when he stopped outside my house, he didnt get out of the car, or make a move to kiss me or anything. Obviously, when we first met, he was a bit drunk and a bit of a smooth talker, so I was worried he was a bit of a player (considering how we first met) but when he was sober he seemed quite nervous, so I wasn't too worried. He texted me the next day, but hasn't replied to my text. He went to a club the night after we went out, he invited me to go but I was already busy, but I'm worried he met someone else :/

A player likes door mats, women that are in love with the idea of love, therefore fall for all his BS. Their relationships are all games. They also like to keep a steady squeeze, all the better to cheat on and sneak around, because aloha, what fun would it be to not sneak around.

That's exactly what I was thinking, hence why I didn't want to jump into any conclusions just yet (given her title for this thread) I also suspect he's just unconfident when sober.

But he added me on fb and loads of girls have written flirty comments on his wall and stuff, and he flirts back with all of them, which worries me a bit. And he said he's moving away soon, back to the RAF base (which i don't think is a lie) so I'm probably overthinking it, because I don't really see a relationship coming out of this.

Dried up, indeed, next him, and if he tries to be suave, ignore. Also if he tries to devalue you or discard, just text him, it's alright, you beat me to the punch. Do not feed into his complex.

I dont wanna appear needy, so i dont really wanna text him again :/ I suggested we go out to a club on thursday, cos it's results night so i think he'll come. I might just go with him, and spend the night dancing with other guys in front of him

He is not going to think it means you are enamored by these men, thus he has to have you. He will see it many ways and not the way you wish for him.
