Author Tasha49 Posted August 14, 2011 Author Posted August 14, 2011 Well you might be... I used to have a deal breaker about height- but my last 2 bf's have been shorter than I am. I am 5'7" and my last bf was probably 5'6"...and the guy before that was about 5 '6.5"... I got to this point where I realized that faces stood out to me. I used to see a cute pic of POF and like all the pictures, then see the height and not answer their mail... I'm all about the face and the eyes. I wouldn't date someone way shorter than me- because that would make me feel "big"... But an inch or two would not matter. I would never date a guy thinner than me- that would be my deal breaker- but since I'm 115lbs, I am all good for that. Well i have dated men skinnier than me. But they have been taller. And although it is nice to have a taller guy I never needed them to be THAT tall. I haven't dated a guy over 5'9" and a guy under 5'7" just because it just didn't happen like that. The guy can be a bit meaty and I don't mind. But height is a plus.

It's hard to say what all the reasons are for your being a bitch. But I think women generally want to be with a guy who is taller than them. That's pretty normal. I wouldn't worry about it.

Honestly, I don't want to give up the surfing thing which is why I still have my board, even though I haven't used it in a year. I hated getting up early for surfing class but apparently the morning isn't the only time one can surf. But since being out in the ocean by oneself is dangerous, it's not something one should do alone. Since I didn't have anybody else to go out with, it was the class or nothing. If I could hit the waves in the afternoon with a cute surfing buddy I would definitely give it another shot. It's the same thing with Salsa dancing. I mean I am trying to make myself as less shallow as possible but I don't think I could see myself with a 5'2" guy. I would feel very large compared to him. Like I was his babysitter or something. That sounds terrible but I just don't see myself dating someone that shorter than me. And if he was tough that would turn me off too as I do not like the bad boy types but the soft and gentle ones lol. Besides... our kids would be like 5" when they mature That's the sort of thing that you will never see yourself in... until it actually happens. Or it may not. Who knows...
