Men do wrong but it tends to be in different ways than women. Men don't tend to want a woman that treats him nice but treats everybody else like crap. They don't have a desire for the most part to change a woman. In fact they get with women hoping they won't change.

 

None of this is actually true; it's just self-serving stereotyping. Plenty of so-called "controlling" guys most definitely want to change women - they want them to be more ladylike, or exercise more, or give up their careers, or be more this, that or the other, all to make them into the "ideal" woman who will impress their friends and fulfill their dreams of domestic bliss.

 

And seriously - PLENTY of guys want the hot chick who is crappy to others but "chooses" him.

 

This is NOT a gender-specific thing. It's a controlling thing, and it's time you stopped pretending that women are worse than men. Nobody's worse than anybody.

Plenty of guys chase after that b*tch who he knows deep down is a sweetheart or whose just a tad less b*tchy to him.

 

I've seen plenty of guys treat women like projects. I know plenty of guys you date a fat girl to encourage her to lose weight.

 

The only case I've seen of a guy dating a girl not to change her was this one guy who saw an ugly duckling with swan potential in. Granted he didn't date her to change her instead he dated girls he determined was in his league and befriended her. So when she became a swan she was a prettygirl with a pleasant personalitywho had a crush on him because he was the only guy nice to her. Plus due to her being an ugly ducklng when she got pretty she still believed she was ugly.

 

This change your partner isn't a gender thing.

 

Neither is only caring about how your partner treats you but not caring how he/she treats others.

She just provided examples that there are men who do in fact tend to want that.

 

I've seen plenty of guys outright reject women that treated them well by calling her clingy, boring, needy, blah blah.

 

Oh of course there are men who will reject a woman no matter how nice she is if he isn't attracted to her. So men do reject any woman that treats them well.
