Ex insinuating im dating someone elese when i only think about him

i broke up with my ex 6 months ago.. but didnt cut off all the kissing and hugging stuff! ..Now hes dating or hanging out with other girl he meet just a month ago ( when he told me just to be friends ).. so i havent complain about that issue with him. Im letting him to be happy.. the problem is that he's insinuating that im dating a boy or something. But i dont want to, because it will only make him move faster with this girl!! ..i dont know if i should clear up things to him or let him believe what he wants. We are staying friends even thou it hurts a lot. he doesnt stop talking to me im just trying to be polite. I havent told him that it hurts..because we cant get NC cos we are classmates at college, and have almost all mutual friends and the same study group.

thanks for the answer.. and it could be anything you said. I think he is the only one who knows.. but it really makes me angry because i dont complain that he's seeing anyone else, and hes doing it trying to sound "friendly" and he told some friends that we are not longer friends, just classmates :S

Being dumped he is going to want closure. Which is why he is contacting you so much.

 

You guys are exs for a reason. He has no power over you. Ask yourself why you would be so upset if he moved it on up with a girl? You can't expect him to sit and fawn over you for the rest of your life. You dumped him so he needs to move on.

 

You should date. And not worry anymore about him. It is your life, and you are wasting your days holding back.
