Ayla Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Since my last freak out post, after spending the night with the guy I like-I am thinking a more positively...I'm not getting my hopes up too much though, but wanted to get your thoughts. The day after he text me immediately after finishing work, which I though was a good thing. He did mention the previous night, and the future. Maybe I haven't stuffed things up! I was adamant that I was not going to contact him-and figured that if he liked me and respected me at all he would contact me. And he did!!! Phew! Today, I asked him for coffee-something we did regularly before the night in question. We met, and he looked happy to see me. Instead of sitting opposite me (like usual), he sat next next to me. Fortunately there was lots of eye contact. Conversation flowed like usual, swapping stories and such, and lots of laughs. It was a little awkward, but in a good way.... He had to go to work, so he walked me to my car...even though it was only 30 meters past his car (he usually doesn't do this either), and said "i will talk with you soon." (nothing different there). Tonight I found out that he told my brother (they are good friends) that we caught up for coffee, but didn't mention the night he came home with me. The only downside is that there was no kiss hello or goodbye (even on the cheek).... All the above (except the line above) are good signs right????

He texted you, he met with you, he was happy to see you, he sat next to you, he walked you to your car. Trust me, you've been on his mind ALL day. You're probably still on his mind.
