If you're not sure if you're ready to date then you'll either be wasting your time or wasting the time of all the people who look at your profile (and perhaps message you). Online dating has enough timewasters already, so could I politely suggest that you try it when you're sure you're ready to date? You're in London... OKCupid isn't too bad for London, but online dating is only as safe as you make it.
