I am not a big online dating guy so here is my situation. I met this girl online and we are clicking very well. I asked her if she would like to go out sometime and she accepted my offer. so this is my next question.

Should I ask for her address tell her what time I should pick her up. Or should I ask to meet her somewhere. I would whether pick her up so it would be a surprise but I am not sure if that would be too creepy.

Just meet her somewhere. If it was me, I'd never give a guy my address for the first date if I met him online. I'd rather know where and when we'd meet at, tell a friend (there are too many creeps out there to not), and go from there. Or..you could have a meet up place, and then take her someplace from there.

Yep. She might be intimidated at the thought of you coming to pick her up. Meet somewhere that's handy for her. A cafe or a bar. A no pressure date, then she can get to see whether you're the type of guy she might like.

For the love of God, don't ask for her address. Only an idiot would give their home address to a stranger on the internet. She'll just think you're a creep who preys on naive girls for their personal information. Set up a date at a public place and have her meet you there. That's how people do it in the online dating world.

I've gone out with a few girls I've met online dating, and the only one that I picked up at her place was a girl I'd been chatting with for almost two months before we actually met.

A first date, particularly with someone you haven't been talking to for a while, should be a meet-up for drinks or coffee. You want to be able to escape if it sucks.
