irc333 Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I think there was a post about this earlier, not sure when. This kind of thing rarely happens. But, when I do my usually emailing to women on dating sites, and get the typical non-response...well, that's that I suppose. I was at the store, picking up a couple of things, when I see this really pretty lady, wearing some short shorts, T-shirt, flip flops, and I could see she was wearing a bikini top. When she turned around in my direction to look at other items on a shelf, I think I recognized her from a dating site. LOL Anyhow, I went to get my stuff, went in line, and then saw her in line as well! After a closer look, I was 99% sure it was her. So I tried to talk to her, asking her it was a great day to hit the beach and go swimming, since it was so hot outside. And she said, "Yeah, I'm going boating with some friends, but not much for swimming though so it'll be a hot one." So I was thinking she might be just getting a tan instead of swimming. And I said, as she was getting her things ringed up and leaving, "Okay, be safe out on the water" and she goes, "Thanks' As far as she was concerned , she might've not even known who I was and I was some strange guy doing a cold-turkey approach in the grocery store. lol I thought about pulling her up online again and try to confirm it with her with something like, "Hey, didn't we meet before at the store the other day?" I'm not sure if any guy here has tried to take another shot at a woman the met online that they later met in person, but I wasn't going to say to her at the line, "Hey, did I see you on OK Cupid? I KNEW I recognized you from somewhere! LOL" I don't know how you guys would go about approaching this, since I suppose meeting someone in person would trump just online interactions. But I wonder if somehow if had a chance meeting with a woman you saw online, would you take another shot at her again? Like saying, "Hey small world, did you know we were in the same store on the same day? Must be fate, right? LOL" Say it jokingly of course. Or would you clam up, not say a word and just continue to email other online women?
