Flipper Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 We dated for probably about a year total, maybe a bit less, on and off. I was such an idiot and was all depressed and stuff and never socialized and isolated and what not... I'm 23 now and although I'm still young I can definately feel how I'm not 20 any more and omg it's freaking me out... I made my choices, and I regret all of them, and now I'm dealing with the aftermath... can someone just tell me something hopeful that this is very common for people and that they do get it all together like other sucessful people? By sucessful i mean sucessful in dating, friends, life, etc? Not people who spend all their time on loveshack and never have relationships lol sorry, not trying to offend anyone here. I just read that "25 year old virgin" thread from back in may or something and it blew my mind how many people way older than I am were still virgins Do I still have lots of hope for intimacy, love, etc as 18-22 year olds have? Any opiions welcome thanks
somedude81 Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Surprise. Not everybody has been as lucky as you have.

somedude81 Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Just say it... LOL, not tonight. I'm probably the most negative guy on this forum. But I don't want to spend any thought thinking about how bad life is because it will get me all riled up and I want to go to sleep soon. Honestly dude, you've had a long term relationship. You can do it again.

Are you saying that it's not a big deal that I was a loner from age 20 up until right when i turned 23? I just want to go back in time and change it all...
somethingsimple Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 So have I. But I was with the same girl from 18-22. I'm 23 now, I'll be 24 in a couple of months. I really feel like, at this generation, most people rather be single. I blame social networking. I don't know if this is the norm. But I usually go on a date with a different girl once every couple of months. They led nowhere, well at least relationship wise, lol. And a casual random hookup every couple of months. I don't really know what you mean by success. But I'm pretty happy with my life. Just that I can't seem to get a ****en decent job out of college.
