Scarlett513 Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 I turn 27 today. I am still single and have a pretty solid history of being single on my birthday for at least the past 5 years. I've had relationships but never in the summer and so I always wind up alone on my birthday. I'm so sad My younger brother and younger cousin always have girlfriends to bring around and I'm always alone. I'm very happy in other aspects of my life but on days like this o just feel lonely and like an old spinster. Every year I think, this will be the year it happens for me.... But I'm always wrong. I'm sorry for the pity party. I guess I just am hoping to hear from others who can relate. Literally all of my friends are married so no one is around to celebrate with me and they would never understand if I tried to talk to them about this.

I am going to be single on this birthday, just as how I've been single on every single one since the day I was born. I'm not even going to have a party. I'm just going to be by myself drowning in my tears.
