No, not being treated poorly or abused and being respected should be an expectation of any healthy woman. However, there are many women out there that are used to being wined, dined, bought gifts, and just plain spoiled by a man in addition to being respected and show no appreciation. I see many women in NYC that could never afford to eat at the five star restaurants and wear the jimmy choo shoes they do without their man and, yet, never appreciate such things. These are the same women who say they wear fancy dresses and get done up because men want them to and that is their contribution to dating. I also know women without such expectations that would be happy if a guy took them out for a burger or gave them a $20 gift. I prefer the latter type. The truth is no one is entitled to anything. Finding someone who does treat you well is something to be appreciated and not taken for granted. That some women take being treated well by a man as an expectation and not appreciate it is a sign of being spoiled by a wealth of good choices.
donnamaybe Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I don't think this woman is trashy at all but when he brought her into work all the women seemed to have an opinion of her so I used that term. Catty bitches. They're jealous and have to find SOMETHING they can yammer about. I'm all about how a person treats their friends, loved ones, and even strangers rather than the make and model of car they drive, where they get their hair done, what brand of clothes they wear, etc. etc.

She sort of looks like a cross between one of the women on that Jersey salon show and a punk rocker. I hate those shows because of how it makes my state and my town look.

I hate those shows because of how it makes my state and my town look. On the other hand, if she grew up in that subculture, it would seem normal for her to dress that way, but not act that way. I think the behavior on those shows is not typical of most people.

There are certain kinds of women who are known to be easy but I know many men who are not attracted to them.

And there are women, who, while look trashy on the surface, have really nice and worthwhile personas, and if taking time to get to know them, you'd be glad you didn't dismiss them as "just another piece of trash".
shadowofman Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Being a punk rocker myself, I am very accustomed to "trashy". And some of them were the most uptight women I have ever met. Girls that will piss on anything wrestle each other in baby pools of blood, but won't have sex unless they are in a monogamous relationship. Case of Book by it's cover.
