dontevenknowanymore Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 did no contact for like a week and then asked her to hang out, i had recently moved out, she came over, we talked, and now things are the way they were again. i finally got it through to her that i really am willing to try again, and she is willing to give me a chance. what i am happiest about is that we have both finally agreed to get over all of the ****ing mindgames, and it makes everything so much better. quit trying to manipulate people you care about.
marqueemoon4 Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 sounds like things are moving in a positive direction.. not sure what the title of the thread means.

1Dunno Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Unsure of your situation but I would still tread extremely carefully. You say that you've put the mind games aside. What do you mean by that? Unfortunately, as honest as you think that your partner was being, relationships are still one big game to a lot of people. Depending on what the issues were and why you broke up in the first place, I'm extremely sceptical that after only one week of being apart that those issues have truly been resolved. It's unlikely that both of you were able to clear your heads after only one week and start completely "clean slate". Just some food for thought, not trying to be sceptical.
mr.goodguy Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 agreed...one week is an extremely short period of time to evolve your personalities. Talk is cheap for a reason...if you guys can back up your conversation with action, that is good. All the best
