Star Gazer Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Yes they exist. I have a name for them, I call them awesome! I didn't ask if "they" (although it's unclear who "they" even are in your post) exist. I asked whether she'd be happy.
Author xoxoDaniellexoxo Posted August 4, 2011 Author Posted August 4, 2011 Would you honestly feel fulfilled if you, an outdoorsy girl, were with a couch potato, so long as he likes dogs and music (most guys will generally have those two interests)? I guess I have a different idea of what an outdoorsy girl is, because in my mind, it would be highly unusual for an outdoorsy girl to be happy with an indoors dude. Yeah I don't expect people to like everything I do that would be a little strange, and as long as he isn't in front of the tv playing xbox all day everyday as has something he likes to do, like go to the gym then I would be ok with that. I know tons of guys who would NEVER come to the stables with me, but that's ok with me it's my time to relax and enjoy myself :-)

I think if the guy was a TOTAL couch potato and never left the house other than to get beer and food then I would have a problem. I would prefer a guy who likes to take long walks and enjoys hiking and swimming, but if it was something like that he lived in the city and hated rural settings then I would probably not be happy, because I'm happiest in big spaces where there is tons of nature and I can have multiple dogs, and hopfully one day horses too.

It's nice to hear, quite rare nowdays as most people prefer to live in the city. I live in a farm and the open space is just not something I can ever give up on: Got a couple of horses, lots of chicken, 1 peacock, a bunch of street cats who adopted our place lol and lots of dogs - ye, it's a zoo!
Author xoxoDaniellexoxo Posted August 4, 2011 Author Posted August 4, 2011 No I haven't! But wow, nice catch - I googled it right as I read your message, and damn, you're right! I do admit I didn't pay to to much attention to Emma Frost in Origins since she been there only for a few moments. And here I thought I was a big fan, haha! Can't wait for the next one! Downside? Not quite, all depends really - depends at why you are a virgin, if it's for religious beliefs than it would be a downside to many, but if it is because you haven't met the right person yet, than I believe only a few would see it as a downside. I went to "first class" three times cause I went with different people so I picked out editing errors lol. And no religous reasons, never really ever though of it in highschool cause I knew a girl who got pregnant and that scared me to death! Call me old fashioned but I want to be in love with people before I sleep with them. But.. I am old fashioned lol. I think my grandma who is old school Italian would prefer I became a nun *shuder* I like guys so that wouldn't work well!

Haha the zoo I used to help at in the summers has 7 peacocks and I never realized how FREAKIN loud they are til I was out there all day with the otters and they didn't shut up! What type of horses? Haha I am a sucker for an Appy, the one I lesson with is a blanket appy with a chesnut coat and if they ever sell him I am taking him with me to grad school!! Lol

Don't know if I'd call it old fashioned, but since you're a virgin only because you haven't met the right guy yet, than it shouldn't deter the majority of guys; And besides, you're doing it smart, you want your first time to be with someone you love, cause it can be a rather painful experience (the first time) - so if you're emotionally into someone, it will lessen the pain. Meh, this whole talk about X-Men makes me wanna do a marathon tomorrow (just did Harry Potter and LoTR marathons)

My favorite movie is Chamber of Secrets!! I also have a soft spot for snakes, my dad freaked the first time he visited me at work and I was in with the 15ft Burm taking her blood lol.

Lol Got a couple of American Quarter Horse (male - brown with blonde hair and female - all brown) - When I was with my ex' we used to ride on them quite a lot (she's a professional horse trainer - and her name is also Danielle LOL!) in the open field, quite the experience I gotta say, to let them run freely and just ride them. Also, the peacock we got is a female, so no pretty feathers there - she's quiet though.

When we ride out in the old polo field we always have to gallop across the whole property lol closest I've ever come to flying in my life!

Yeah, when you do a marathon you can just see the actors grow in a matter of hours, freakish! Can't say that snakes are my type.. I live in a farm, so snakes for me equal danger for the animals (chickens mainly); Well, that was the case until the street cats adopted us, no more snakes or mice since

I do want a Newfie though! My friend has two and they are the sweetest cutest dogs ever! The are like living teddy bears!

A shelter with English Bulldogs? Awww, that makes me sad, who can abandon such creatures.. Did you know that it's quite popular to cut the mastiffs ears? Oh yes, horrible, we never cut our mastiffs ear, they looks so less intimidating like that... And they are banned in some countries since they were used as attack dogs (mostly for mafia purposes). And Fang is adorable, though ours was pink colored (it's called pink, but in reality it's more like Silver-brown colored). It's nice to see that you are surrounded with so much life!

Yeah I thought the same thing about bulldogs someone used this one girl sugar as a breed dog in a puppy mill and when they rescued her it made me seriously question how a person could hurt a dog who came straight out of that hell hole and sat in our laps and kissed us to death! The other dog I remember was Taffy and they used her as a fight dog so she has terrible scars they make me want to cry I did know about ear clipping people have come into vet offices where I work and intern and ask for their dogs ears clipped we refuse to do it since there is no medical need AT ALL!! It's sad how cities ban dogs like pit bulls, who are one of my favorite breeds! I had a guy ask me to dog sit his pitty cause he owned a gym and I helped raise it from a pup and he was the most loyal kind fun loving dog I have ever met. All he wanted was to make everyone happy. They are just like every other dog and they need just as much love

Rarely does the dog grow up to be vicious on his own. Sad really.

That's why I love being around animals. At my school's stables we have a foal now and I could sit with her for hours all she wants is to be petted and kissed, and to be told how pretty she is

Have you been to a foal litter? How they stand up after a few minutes, amazing had been to 3 litters so far, amazes me each time anew.

Yes indeed we do, lol, it's in Kentucky so if that gives you an idea everyone loves horses there! But yeah the stables are for the equestrian team, which I'm on, and the vet program, which I am in. And I didn't getting to see her be born I seriously missed it by a minute!!! I almost cried though when she stood up, ok I did cry actually

lino Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Going by most of what you've posted here, you are a great catch. Outdoor type girls are great Only thing you've said which isn't fantastic is about the old school Italian Grandmother. I'm a 'new school' Italian migrant and find a lot of the old fashioned migrants have given italians in general, a not so great image.

She is very old world in her thinking that women should stay home and clean and cook( LOVE cooking and I am a great baker FYI) but they do give new italians bad images, the whole mafia thing is so over used and annoying. Thankfully my grandpa also was from italy and was the modern one lol, he didn't even fit into the mafia steriotype. Then again Jersey Shore makes italians look like brainless tanned idiots who have nothing better to do than get wasted and do their hair. I really still want to travel to Italy eventually!! I can kinda speak italian but I speak fluent Spanish so I can get by lol

I've never seen that show fortunately. I don't think it's hugely popular here. Italy is a nice place to see but can get expensive. If you can speak Spanish, Spain is a nicer place to visit imo.
