And it's not simply because of who she is but because of the pain she has caused my brother. But for the simple fact that I love my brother, I must allow him to live his life and if that means him marrying this woman.. then so be it. If you can't stand your sister in law, unfortunately it's best to stand by and just be ready to be there if needed. I learned that from personal experience. I spoke up once and told him what I thought of her and in the end we got into a huge fight and didn't speak for months. I got blamed for their issues. So my advice, if your brother loves her and he is happy.. just be happy for him. Play nice with her as hard as it may be.
bentnotbroken Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 I had four...only liked two. Still have a relationship with my one of my brother's former wife(she is still my sister). The other brother's former wife needs to learn the power of soap and water and what it is to be a decent mother. Mr. Messy's sister...well and she chaps my hide.
