antinko Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Well, it's not quite that extreme, but what does it mean? I just went through my phone deleting pictures and found one of my ex. I found myself thinking, randomly, "I don't reognise you. Who are you exactly?" And then I deleted it. I feel a bit sad now, but, increasingly, I find the grief being replaced with this sensation of emptiness, something I cannot describe, but it's just...hollow. I'm going white water kayaking later; I'd never have started that if I was still with this girl. Is it really a new beginning?
oldguy Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Five stages of separation or grief. It's basically the same sort of thing people go through when someone dies. We basically go through each of them in no particular order and at no prescribed rate, unless you deny yourself one of them. You can do a search for them on-line; '5 stages of grief'. I'm happy your in a good place.
bonpaw2008 Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Hallow is good. Hallow means you are done purging out all of the old and you are ready and have space available to put new memories in. Have fun and be safe.
