Four years ago, I had an excellent six-pack (stomach muscles). Unfortunately, I misplaced it. Does anyone know good excercises that would work to get it back?

Sit ups and practically any type of abdominal exercise is going to strengthen and define that area. To see the six pack, however, you have to have VERY little fat around your abs for it to be seen. Depending on your weight and body type, you may need to burn off the extra fat so that your stomach muscles are again visible.

I exercise my abs regularly, but I still am workng off that last inch of fat so that anything is actually visible. It's SO frustrating! I've been working to get rid of this for two months now, but I digress.

I recommend crunches over situps. personally i think it works the abs better and with less strain on my back. also leg raises are good. i dont know the name of this exercise, but you sit at the end of a bench, i suppose you could do it in a chair, with your back at like a 45 degree angle and you bring your legs up to your chest (well since your legs are bent i guess you're bringing your knees to your chest) you can turn your legs to work the side of your abs as well.

i should put a little disclaimer that i dont have a six pack but am working at getting one. i have good abs, but like faux said, i have some fat over them.

I got told that a good squat (proper backwards not down) will give you the best tummy workout than any situps
