Did i say the right thing?

Hi there,

 

So i talked to this girl for a bit during the winter, we stopped talking for whatever reasons. Months later we would talk randomly, have casual conversations etc...She then moved away for the summer and we became even closer through texts. She would drunk call me, and all that asking if i missed her.. it was all fun and games. Things continued to get more flirty. She finally came back to school for the fall, we hung out and partied a bit. She was very very hot and cold. Telling me we should do things the next day, then ignore my call when id ask if she wanted to go with me and my friends to the beach or whatever she had interest in doing 24 hours prior.

 

She then calls me one night at 2am, "just wanting to talk to me" we talk for a few ...she says she will call me back, i ignore the next call and text her the next day saying i fell asleep, but i wanna see her new apt...she ignores me all day. stuff like this had been ongoing, and my friends would tell me shes just a waste of time.

 

SO, i get fed up with the games and tell her i like her but shes too hot and cold for me and if she ever wanted to be something with me let me know for once, but i wasnt gonna chase her anymore and play her games and waste my time.

 

And note that im a pretty confident guy and was not needy, but rather just trying to find out what was going on in her head after 3 months of becoming pretty close.

 

I guess what im just wondering is, do you think this was the right thing to say?

She sounds like one teasing attention freak girl.

 

If she's like this right off the bat, speaks for itself how a relationship with that girl would be like..

 

My opinion, what you said to her is irrelevant. What you believe in, and what you'll do and think is what matters. She doesn't need to know that you don't want to play her games, simply Don't. Don't text her, don't call her etc.. Then the ball is in your court and you're in control to do as you wish.
