HardknockLife Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 So i met this girl last week, first night me, her and my friend went to a bar. Had a good night and i dropped them home. Next day we chilled again till like 4 in the morning, mean while waiting for a friend to get off from work. She laid her head down on my lap and i was massaging her head, and moving my fingers through her hair.. Than we started to kiss..all that good stuff (no sex) Next day we went for a coffee and chilled with her friends, while i was driving she kept holding my hand, kissing the back of my hand.. Being so close to me.. So my question is, does she have feelings towards me, or am i thinking about it too much? havent seen or talk with her for like a week now. I sent her a text msg like 4 hours ago no reply. I guess i fall too quickly and i guess it was her touch that broke the wall. Im dying to see her again, but at the same time im preparing myself that it might not go anywhere.. Thanks for your inputs.

I would never kiss a guy or be touchy feely with him unless I was seriously interested in him. But my best friend would pursue a guy, get a good make out with him, then drop him for the next guy. I don't know how she possibly enjoyed this approach to guys but she did. That's how we knew her current husband was the one for her, he is the only guy she has been with longer then a week I'd say give her a little space and wait for her to respond back to you.

You two were all in each other's kitchens and then no word for a week between you two at all? And what's with a text message? Call me old fashioned but if I broke through with someone like that I wouldn't just drop off the planet if I was into her. Maybe she expected you to follow up--instead of making a move herself and you left her out there to get the wrong impression. Then you an't phone her and speak? I don't get it. Maybe she didn't either. This is not to say there's no hope, but when you get into kissing and petting and it's not like you just did that with a total stranger, it usually means that you're past the point of having to worry about whether you're welcome or not. If you have her number, throw her a call. And don't be dense again.

I feel bad if i sent a text msg and she doesnt reply... how busy are you lol at least you can return my text while youre going home? I don;t know but im thinking that she doesnt want it? why would you make out with someone and give the wrong impression and than pretend like you dont know the person...weird stuff

Yea i stopped texting her, because like i said it makes me feel bad if she doesn;t respond.. while knowing that she goes out to drink or whatever. Hey, you're right about the decency of making the time to answer. I stick by what I said though about you maybe waiting too long after that connection happened. Some women have expectations and if you don't fulfill them in good time, they can turn on you. This one may be gone for you. You can still try, but learn from this and next time you break into being physically affectionate like that, show some reassurance by no more than the second day after. Waiting a week and texting is kinda weak that way if you ask me. If she blows you off in the day or two after, you know there's just something she has going on that means it ain't happening and you won't build up all that week of wondering and can start accepting what's what sooner.
