bluenightowl Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 (edited) just curious, who among you are in long term committed relationships? Are we all just as selfish and stop dropping in here once we have met our match or... do we stay on.. and provide support to those seeking.. It seems there are lots of veteran single dumped people in here. maybe thats good.. lots of players who give advice on playing it cool but are single.. where are the married and happy people.. don't jump all over me.. I'm playing devil's advocate.. and I think those with experience even if single have good advice to give... BUT.. I think those in happy relationships do to. Edited August 2, 2011 by bluenightowl
Finch Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 There are several people on this board who are married or in LTR's. I've been happily coupled up for three years now, and we've been living together for two of those years. There are hiccups, but overall I'm pretty happy. We laugh a lot together.
HappyPanda Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Im no Loveshack OG or anything, but Im in a happy relationship! I come back to try and provide support as best I can, and to ask the occasional questions, but mostly because I studied psychology in college, and Im fascinated by the behaviorism of dating and mating... and this site right here provides completely unbiased/uninhibited accounts. Im like a kid in a candy store Oh, and Im not quite sure how long you consider "long term" but we've been dating for about a year and a half... But I suppose thats a topic for a different post

I'm glad to hear this. I like this site as well in general.
NoReallyThatHappened Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 I am happily coupled up, though I wouldn't call it "long term" yet. I've just about had every dating experience out there so I feel I have some interesting insights to offer.

Enchanted Girl Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 I actually never post on here when I'm single. I'm too unstable to handle this forum during that time. Right now, I've been with my boyfriend for the past 8 months and am very happy. =) Before that, I was with my ex of five years and posting on here.
Queen Zenobia Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 I'm engaged. Getting married next year. I'm a relatively new member, I come here basically because I like hearing life stories and I like to help when I can (I actually registered to contribute to something I read in the politics section tbh). Loveshack provides a nice little breather in an otherwise busy life though.
sm1tten Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 I'm happily in a relationship, but it's extremely new. I've been lurking here since I was in my last LTR (2 years), and I've been active here through two rebounds and then into my current. I would like to stick with it because I've had a lot of different relationship experiences and I think I can be helpful at times, and also because I'm still learning so much. There are definitely a few happily marrieds on here as well... Citizen Erased comes to mind.
