Lucid1 Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Ok, I've gotten much good from the people here, maybe I can repay it a bit. Anyone suffering, hurting, going through hell, unsure and scared needs some different viewpoints and some support and advice. Friends are the best, but sometimes reading about it helps too. Below is my book list; most of the books I've read and studied in the last year trying to figure out just what the heck happened to my marriage. I got a lot of help here, bits and pieces from each book. It all added up to something indefinable but substantial. The ones with a star I really recommend. 2.50 a gallon Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Lucid At present I am in a long term loving relationship, so have no need to read these books Having said that the two books that I would put at the top of the list are His Needs - Her Needs and the Mars Venus book To be honest I was a player and the reason that I read the Mars Venus book was to get insight on how to improve my seduction techniques And I have recently read within the past couple of years HN-HN, because a friend recommended it to me. Both of the books were eye openers, in that it gave me insight into the ways a woman feels and thinks, and I learned things about myself that I would have never known. I am presently going on 17 years with my current lady. I am retired, not rich, living on a fixed income, and she is 8 years younger than me, and in the looks department she is totally out of my league. I am short and skinny, and she is attracted to the tall tough guy. Sixteen years ago I stole her from a guy who was eight years younger than her, she was 38, I was about to turn 46, and he had just turned 31, he was tall, long hair, like her favorite Steven Segal, and a former tough guy boxer who had just retired. The love between is a no doubter, and just continues to grow, and I am sure part of that success can be because of what I absorbed by reading those two books.
