KR10N Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Last night I had a dream about myself in which my physical appearance was far more toned than I actually am. Oddly enough I was wearing a bikini top in my dream (I don't do bikinis). I've never actually been "into" myself physically in any way & would never flaunt it. I didn't feel uneasy after having the dream (it made me feel good in a weird way) but actually having a dream of me showing off has made me wonder why I had it in the first place. When it comes to my physical appearance I'm pretty much Plane Jane. I'm just here & I never dress to impress others (not that I'm a slob). Now, I've never been obese. I have, however, been a few lbs over-weight; lost it years ago & have been active since. Now my question, is it normal to dream about oneself this way? I have worked out hard the past 7 months & have only gained slight definition but not really enough to where I'm like, "Oh, I look good!" lol. I'd never say that anyway. But I still don't understand my dream.
FitChick Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 If you looked good in your dream and felt good about it, I think it's just the motivation you need to make it happen. You got to see the "after" version of you. Lucky!
