This time, instead of trying to make plans on the spot as I did before, I got her number, and (after asking when would be a good time to call) told her I would be calling Tuesday at 8. I proposed us going downtown, getting some ice cream, and people-watching... (I usually meet women during the day, as I tend to NOT go to bars. Too many other dudes to compete with. It sounds better though. A little less pushy. Can I ask, what would be wrong with just asking, "Hey would you like to go out sometime? Can I get your number?" And then leaving it with "I'll give you a call tomorrow."
