BSG81 Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 My sister is getting a divorice but hasnt filed yet. My parents have been married for 34 years, and this is my families first divorice. I'm clueless on this topic. My sister (30 years), lied and told my family that she was driving her 1 year old baby, 3 hours away- to stay in a cabin for 7 days with her new boyfriend. My families main concern was my sister driving (3 hours) and not having help if her baby suddenly needed care while on the road--we are overprotective I admit. She got home yesterday, and I accidently found out, that didnt drive her baby to cabin 3 hours away, she actually took the baby on a 14 hour road trip to tx, to visit her new boyfriend. I understand my sister is free take her baby wherever she pleases. My question is does the future ex husband (they both live in TN) have any rights to my sister driving their baby out of state to TX for 7 days? I know, my sister didnt tell her future ex husband the truth about where she went (which again, I do understand thats not my business what she tell her future ex husband). My other question, is will my immediate family be in any legal trouble, if her future ex husband does find out that she drove the baby out of state?
