mavlast Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 There's a girl that I met online whom I really like. We're scheduled to meet each other soon, and I think that things will really take off. I know that she has the same feelings for me, and I think that I might want to ask her to be my girlfriend. The problem is that she still goes to school locally (I'm about 200 miles away during the year), and she doesn't plan to transfer to the same university. How can I bring up the topic of being in a relationship with her? ps -- Today she texted me that she "hates her mother," and when I asked why she didn't respond. I offered to talk to her if she'd call me, and as of yet I haven't heard from her. What should I do?
HardknockLife Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Yes... What do you expect from a person who says " I hate my mother"
HardknockLife Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Other thing you asked her whats wrong and all that stuff. But she hasn't contacted you yet. Im assuming she likes the drama, and that is no good.
Author mavlast Posted July 31, 2011 Author Posted July 31, 2011 You may be right. It'll be hard, though. It's been a while since someone has taken to me like she has.
Author mavlast Posted July 31, 2011 Author Posted July 31, 2011 Are there any second opinions? I'm not ignoring anyone; I just want to hear what more than one person has to say.
LittleTiger Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I think you should just talk to her and let her know you'd like to have a LDR if she'd be willing to give it a go - when you meet her, not on the phone or by text. Don't worry about the message re her mother. You have no idea what it means or what's going on at her end. Hopefully it's nothing too serious. Wait until she contacts you again - or send another message asking if she's ok. Other than that you'll just have to sit tight until she contacts you again.
Author mavlast Posted July 31, 2011 Author Posted July 31, 2011 (edited) It's not the end of the world, but it's so weird that I still haven't heard anything from her. I hope that nothing bad has happened. I would text her, but I did that several times yesterday so maybe I should just let her talk to me when she's ready. I don't think shed be upset with me; she was in a great mood and flirty the day before. What do you think? Edited July 31, 2011 by mavlast
