EDC Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 I"m a bit confused about this girl's actions mainly because I don't have that many female friends. So here's my story: I met this girl at a college and we became pretty chummy with each other. I was attracted to her physically, but mentally I feel that we just don't have chemistry. But I befriended with her anyways because I wanted a friend who I can talk to about relationships (because my guy friends can't do that!). But aside from that, we only hang out outside of school a couple of times, in class, we don't talk that often because I don't sit next to her. But the weird thing is, I noticed that she doesn't act like a "friend" to me that much. For example, she never calls me to say what's up or IM me at all. And then just yesterday I saw her at the mall and she says what's up brother? Does she think I that I like her and that's why she never initiate conversations? I mean, my guy friends call me to hang out all the time. So I don't get what's her problem is.
Enchanted Girl Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 I think you're overthinking it. She probably thinks of you as just an acquaintance and if you want a deeper friendship with her than that, then you need to initiate it.
