browndog319 Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 I know I'm new on the site, but so far I have interacted with some very cool women who are straight shooters, who are wounded but trying, discovering that there are reasons the attracted their AP that are innately wired to their personality. There are the women who have moved beyond it who give us hope and share their stories. Those women are really motivating and tough, but they have to be. I propose each of us write our stories in narrative. The goal is that each of us is a main character. You can make her prettier, taller, whatever you want in the story. Fictionalize a bit so it's you, but not TOO you. Use your imagination. Tell the story of the OW, the MM, or if you were the BS, what that was like - If we have and WW or WS, that would rock! Once we get these started, we'll switch and read and edit. Everyone must be kind and assume that this is great. By editing you will help everyone GET BETTER. And then we will switch again for more editing. And so forth. And then we will discuss as a group. And then we will get a literary agent and publish it. And it will be true and gritty and heart warming. Any thoughts? Even if it doesn't go so far as publication, we would still have written a unique experience about what this has meant to be us as a people. Writing is therapeutic. Thoughts?

Check it out if you aren't familiar with it as it would be handy to do a project with others. I will! I'll let everyone know what I find out. I dont think that there is a book out there like that. Can you imagine the people everyone could reach out to and prevent what we all have gone through here on LS? Let me know what you find out.
Author browndog319 Posted July 29, 2011 Author Posted July 29, 2011 I will find out and see what we could do. Good thought about the anonymity (sp? I wanna write???? LOL!). Many authors use pen names, so why couldn't we all use dummy Emails on google and then pen names if we got it published.

TurboGirl Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Hmmm bad idea. I would not my idiotic choices memorialized... even anonymously. People will make their own mistakes anyway... wouldn't really "save" anyone from anything, IMHO. Would just be another trashy novel, but probably a money maker.
