My friend gave her number to me (she asked her first of course) I spoke to her yesterday for a brief moment and she was surprised I called, I told her we should hang out some time next week and she said great.

I was initially thinking of movie and a dinner but that felt too conventional. I was thinking of taking her to the zoo and wanted your thoughts, since I spoke to her only once I am not sure if she is into that or any thing else. Is the zoo safe or should I took at events around the city.

Also I spoke to her yesterday, when should I call next without seeming too eager or the other.

Thank you

any help is appreciate

Zoo sounds great. You might see two animals getting it on and it just might inspire her!

Call her tomorrow night.

The zoo is an excellent location for a date in my opinion.

Several pro's:

- You can walk around (hand in hand) in the open air where you can talk. Unlike at the cinema, where you are expected to be quiet, so there you can't really get to know each other.

- The animals provide for topics to talk about, often they're funny.

- There are quiet areas where you can kiss.

I have already called her, and had to leave a voice mail LOL. I am also thinking about the Steam whistle brewery here in Toronto where you can tour the place and sample their stuff. What do you guys thing of that, I felt the zoo might be too long for a first date

Plan for the zoo and have the brewery as a back up.

I think taking a girl to the zoo for a first date is outstanding. I'd be impressed. ;)

Complete change of plans, she is free this weekend LOL and not monday since she is working till 5 on monday,I have to leave to work at 2:30 ( I work at 4) on the weekend.

She asked me what I had in my mind, I asked her how much she liked animals and after a while she was like it doesnt have to be the zoo LOL (does she mean its too much or any thing else. Should I still ask her out for the zoo (that means we need to meet by 11 and I need to leave by 1)

or

should I make her meet me by 11 at the harbour front by the lake here in Toronto then head to the center island by ferry and spend about two hours then go the brewery till I have to go to work at 4, how does that sound for a first date?
