irc333 Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 ...Facebook. I've noticed something lately. I had come across a couple of profiles of women in bikinis , almost every single picture taken was a bikini photo or what looked like was a professional modeling shoot. And I think these women are for real, nothing fake, because the profile write-up is not generalized, but a bit more specific. One woman threw in a general photo with her and some friends (not as high a resolution like the others) But, I was wondering if these ladies are more about promoting their modeling career on a dating site as opposed to meeting a guy?
Damien Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Well, I honestly think they're trying to 'look their best', I see nothing wrong with it actually. It's pretty much the equivalent to guys on dating sites without their tops on, I mean seriously now? I'd never go that level.
Philosoraptor Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 It's how they think they will attract a man. It will attract the boys, as a man I stay away from it.
Author irc333 Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 Not even a 40 something figure competing chick? Or this one?

Who cares? They could be AWs, or they could be putting the message out that they believe they are "super hot" women and thus only want "super hot" guys to message them. Sometimes they'll go all the way because they want the best of the best of the men, and not the gazillion average joes and ugly guys who might be on the site. If you think have a shot, email her. If not, move on.
TuffCookieX Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 I've put up 3 modeling photos on my dating sites because I love them but the rest are just regular me or posing with friends. I don't think women or men should put a whole album of modeling pics (I have dated male models as well and sometimes they only flaunt the professional shots which in my opinion looks pretty vain). Modelmayhem.com is for portfolios and it's free, so I think these people ARE using dating sites date but don't have good normal photos to use.
