lance.dark Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Girl and I stopped seeing each other a week ago. We live in a large city with a lot of bars/clubs. Last night she was in the bar that I frequent. It's close to me and it was HOT last night so I didn't want to travel farther. It is not close to her. She knows it's my default bar and I met her there. I have avoided her area of town - it's hard to get to and I respect the fact that she might not want to see me. There are a ton of other places to go so I don't feel like I'm missing out by skipping that part of town. I can only assume that she was there on purpose since she also knows Saturday nights are the only time I go out. If it had been somewhere else, I would've thought it was just bad luck but, like I said, it's MY bar. And it's not like it ruined my night or anything; I just paid no heed. But I'm still curious, why do girls do dumb stuff like this?

It was kind of a mutual end in that I explained what I was looking for and she wasn't looking for that. I wasn't really bothered by her being there but there are honestly better places to go and I wouldn't go there if I didn't live close to it so I was just curious why she would go out of her way to go there.

But I'm still curious, why do girls do dumb stuff like this? It's not just girls that do that, guys do it too. When my sister separated from her second husband, he would drive clear across town, 45 minutes away, just to go to the night spot my sister frequents that is 5 minutes from her house. He didn't talk to her, just wanted to be there to keep an eye on her, I guess. Or to make her uncomfortable. Or to deter any would be suitors. Maybe he thought he could get back together by showing up there often enough. She laid down the law to him that he has to refrain from going there, since that was her night spot that she had before she ever met him, and the one in her neighborhood.
