ricious Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Hey, we recently broke up because he's moving away. We'll be able to see each other freely starting next year as long as we make an effort. That's why it was hard for us to decide what to do and we talked about it lots but in the end he said he can't do long distance and made the final decision. We broke up in person before he left and agreed to be friends and we talked a few times that week, then not at all for almost a month. A few days ago I started talking to him on facebook- just small talk, hows it going etc. And he responded well and said he wanted to talk to me too and we agreed to skype soon. So next time I was on skype he talked to me. He said he missed me and we talked about the break up a bit and he said his friends got pissed and told him he'd never find anyone as good but it was too late cuz they said it after we broke up. And my friends did the same to me. We talked about some random things too but after an hour I left. Obviously I want to get back with him but what should I do from now?

I think he still stands by his decision to not do a long distance relationship. You and him made small talk and talk about what each of your groups of friends said. I do not know what you should do. He did not apologize about the decision he made earlier about breaking up with you. I still think he still means it. If I was you I would strongly consider against moving out there with him. I think you both were just talking as friends.
