concernedPotato Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 This is my situation. I just graduated high school and in the last month of it, I saw this really pretty girl at school. I was never really interested in the girls at my school but this one stood out. I learned she was in 10th grade while i was in 12th. I noticed she would stare at me in the halls so i took that as a good sign. I decided to talk to her but didnt get the chance because she was always with friends and Im really awkward in groups of people I dont know. School ended and I thought I lost my chance so I went ahead and added her on facebook because I had nothing to lose. She accepted and i sent her a message and we started talking about our exams and school stuff. We sent messages back and forth for a week and finally she gave me her number telling me to text her because she was bad at responding on facebook. So we texted eachother for a bit and I asked her if she wanted to hang out sometime and she agreed.We were suppose to go to a park but she texted me the day we were suppose to go saying she had to go camping with family and she asked if we could do it when she got back so I agreed. I got to the meeting place and texted her and she said she had an allergic reaction and was at the clinic and I asked her if she was still well enough to come and she said yes so she ended up being an hour late. I walked towards where she was coming from and i saw her when i got up a hill and we just both smiled and hit it off right away. There werent any awkward moments, we had dinner and bowled and I dropped her off at home, didnt get physical. A week later i asked her if she wanted to go to a festival sort of thing. She agreed and went and tried some crazy foods, I won a stuffed animal and gave it to her, we went on a little gondola ride and watched fireworks. It got a little more physical, she was walking close to me a rubbing against me every so often. Towards the end it started raining and she grabbed my hand and we ran through the rain. We took the train down to our stop and she said her mom was picking her up from there, we hugged and that was it. I also went to a movie with her yesterday. We met and walked to the theater. In the movie we were sitting shoulder to shoulder and would every once and a while whisper something about to movie to eachother. After the movie I asked her if she was hungry and she said no but I was starving so she asked me if I wanted to eat she said it was fine if she watched me eat so we went to a restaurant and talked a bit. I ended up making her get something and she ate a bit of it. She called her mom and she said she was getting picked up from where we met so we walked back and when we got there I wanted to kiss her but i just ended up standing there with a big grin on my face looking like an idiot and she was smiling too asking me why i was grining. We ended up just hugging again but a little longer than last time. Immediately after she left she texted me. All my friends are saying ive been friend zoned, but I really like this girl and next time I go out with her Im going to kiss her. I just wanted to get your opinions about this, do you think Im in the friend zone?

rafallus Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Doesn't matter. If you're gonna only think instead of doing, you're 100% sure to land in one eventually. Just don't kiss her out of the blue, and get some decent amount of touching going on again.
