True story... Ive lost 19 pounds this month from either lack of eating, eating too little or cutting the junk food out of my diet and drinking 3-4 gallons of water every day plus hitting the gym and jogging. Today was my day off

=) Everyone including my parents are like wow... whats your secret... I call it the break up diet... screw jenny craig, you do not have to pay anything but emotional energy for this!!!

thought I would post a positive topic in this forum for a change ;)

 I love this! Good stuff

I too have been exercising more. Bicycling, running, Insanity. Helps manage the emotions

I lost 23 pounds in the first month and 7 more in the second. You're right. It starts with not wanting to eat, then exercise to feel better and then improving your diet to keep it going. Thin feels good.

And I wish I could screw Jenny Craig.

Yeah, without doing anything I lost about ten pounds the first two weeks. I was 190 when I left California, now I'm 160 and stable (Four months later), it's been up and down, and after BOSS it was 150. I'm slowly rebuilding my muscle mass and keeping the fat down... like quite a few people, I'm happier with what I see in the mirror, so there's that.

I got P90X right after my breakup, people ask me where all my weight has gone and I just tell them I'm on the Xdiet. they say oh p90x?... I'm like "sure!!!" lol

weighed 188lbs at the time of my breakup, this morning I weighed 147.6 and my weight will fluctuate up to about 153.

I lost 30 pounds after my exH left. I didn't have 30 lbs to lose... it put me under 100 lbs. It took a lot of exercise, eating, and muscle building to get it back... it was mostly muscle I lost :p

Congrats! And hurray for finding the silver lining!

For the people who have the P90x, is it worth it? I've seriously been considering it since I've heard it's brutally awesome!

I went from 137 to 122 thanks to the depression diet. And it was a great way to usher in a new goal of keeping it off. Well, I will admit to gaining three of it back.

(it's summer...I have to have a blizzard now and then!)

My mom asked when she came to visit what my secret was for being so skinny.

I told her just have Dad break her heart.

She was not amused. :D
