rams10 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 (edited) is it a blow off if a guy was talking to u over txt, u ask about his weekend plans, he is going out of town for camping trip all weekend, u say "o too bad was gonna ask u to hang out," then he answers quickly & says "ya havent seen u in a while, we'll have to figure something out." guess i just thought he'd b more specific... but he's never ever been a planner at all & his schedules crazy maybe its just super polite way to blow me off? Mr. Slim Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Unfortunately, his response is (probably intentionally) vague and can literally go either way. Personally, I never plan more than a day ahead so I wouldn't be worried that he didn't set a date. But if I was interested, I would have said something like, "I'll come up with something and call you when I get back" rather than the noncommittal reply he mustered forth.

"We'll figure something out", to me, means "when I get around to it". I dated someone years ago, and I made the initial contact, I called him first, I asked him out first (and the following few dates), I made the physical advances. He made plans once, which was a month from the last time we had seen each. Oh, so sorry to bother you Mr. Important.
