Kathyy28 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 I'll be moving next month to Miami for school, which is at least 2000 miles of where I've lived all my life. The last time I've herd from my ex was about 10 days ago where he texted me about giving me this groupon thing that I've purchased a while ago underneath his account. Although I told him that he could just leave it in my mailbox "he only lives one street away" he texted me that he "preferred to give it to me in person". I didn't wanted to fall for his trap so I just told him to keep the groupon. Now I'm regretting it cause I feel like I could of had used that moment to have the talk with him to get some type of closure and to at least end the 12 years of friendship in peace. NOT to remain friends, but not for him to talk about me to other people as if I were his enemy. I just came to find out about my acceptance 12 days ago and one of our mutual friends told him the day after. Should I make the final move or do you think he will? The fact that our anniversary date is coming up this upcoming Monday is making this all worse :'(.

Your ex and his friendship will soon be a small blip on your radar and you will meet new people, new friends and have new relationships that will be better then this Peace is something you have to attain from yourself, not from someone that ended it with you.

Wilson, you have helped me SO much through out my journey on this forum. I would like to thank you in advance cause I know that although I would LOVE to talk to him and be like the good ole times when we were just best friends but it will never happen. I've been seeing who he is from outside the box and the way he is acting with out break up is very immature and heart breaking. He's making it seem like it was me who broke his heart as if I broke up with him when it was him who ended what we had. I just don't get his actions :-/
