TheAwesomeGuy Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 My girlfriend and I have been going out for 6 months and she opened up to me and told me she loved me about 2 months ago. I thought I felt the exact same way. However, she has been gone for a month on a trip and I am now questioning my love for her. I do miss her and I cannot wait until she gets back, I just don't know if I love her. She does make me happy but while she has been away, I have been looking at other women. I have a job so I am very preoccupied most of the day so I am not always thinking of her. The day she left I was very down. When I am with her I am happy but when she is away, I am not really thinking of her unless I am alone. We do send a lot of emails and occasionally talk on msn. Is this normal or am I not good with distance? And no, I am not thinking of cheating or breaking up with her to be with other girls.

If you still want to be with her just go with the flow of the relationship if your not in love with her its ok. Maybe you need time to see that you love her or maybe you dont. Looking at other women isn't a crime, Hell I am married and look at men, it is human nature, thing is not to act on impulse. Only you can decide how you feel about this lady, and if you decide your not in love and dont want to spend the resdt of your life with her be a man and tell her and walk away knowing you tried your best in this relationship.
