threebyfate Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 It's weird and wonderful how life moves on. At this point in time, cheaters and OWs have no place in my life. Four and a half years ago, I wanted to kill both. Now whether they live or die doesn't really matter to me.
wheelwright Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Exactly. And, if you happened to also have been a married woman who cheated on your husband during your affair, the fact that your husband said "I forgive you" doesn't change anything about what you said, above. Speaking of forgiveness is all well and good. A WS must see in the BSs eyes the possibility of acceptance for what has happened. For this, it is often necessary for WSs to eventually term the A as FOG. If a WS cannot honestly do this, then there may be some shortfall between forgiveness and guilt/remorse where love will not revisit the R.
