photogeek Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 A friend of mine mentioned how a friend of his thought I was "cute" regardless I asked for her number since I would probably never really see her. I texted her and we literally kept talking into the long hours of the night, all day and everyday. We would text each other good morning/night every day. This continued, we hung out with her friends one time. We still continued talking. Then I finally got the guts to ask her out since I genuinely began to like her- we shared the same view on life etc.. BUT she was busy for a while with some stuff to do, so it was quickly swept under the rug. Then finally a couple days ago, we were talking and she mentioned how she got off work. I asked her if she had any plans for after, and she mentioned how her friend was supposed to hang out with her, but flaked. So I asked if she wanted to join me for some dinner since I was actually about to head out and grab some. She said yes, and we agreed to meet at said location. Needless to say, it was your standard dinner, I payed of course since she only ordered something small. We talked for a while, finally parted ways and hugged. I didn't go for a kiss since..well it just didn't feel right. And also, because, well it didn't feel like a date, more like "lets grabe some food together.." What do you think? I mean she agreed to get some food with me, date or no date? What makes a date? So of course, how do I continue? I know keep talking to her, but then randomly bring up and be like "let's go out again?"
GiselleDiann Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Sounds like it was definitely a date. Have you spoken to her since? Give her a call (DO NOT TEXT) and ask her out again.

Just texting since then. But some light stuff. The only thing is...I got on Holiday for about two weeks in a couple days. So if I do ask her out again, it wont be for a while
GiselleDiann Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Well, you don't want her to forget about you when you leave. You should definitely give her a call before your vacation just to chit chat at little. Then you can mention possibly meeting up when you get back in town. You can easily gauge her interest level by her response.
