The date went very well...dinner lasted much longer than it needed to, we spent almost the entire time talking..I had her laughing..things were good. I got a text from her later in the night saying thank you, I had fun, etc. I texted back and she replied..I left it at that. This girl however, was unbelievable. She's a legitimate 10. Not only that, she wasn't stuck up, prissy, brainless, etc. She was actually funny and refreshing to be around. Now, being the best looking girl I've been out with in quite some time, possibly ever, I'm a little unsure of how to proceed. I realize girls like this probably have literally, dozens of guys a week trying to be with them. I'm not the clingy type, but good lord, I would like to get in a relationship with this girl. She's probably used to seeing guys being all over the top, desperate, etc. How do I proceed but avoid that? Treat her like any other girl..?
GiselleDiann Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Just because a girl is a 10 to you doesn't mean she's a 10 to other men as well. So of course you should treat her like every other girl (with respect, kindness etc.) When are you going to ask her out again?

You would be surprised how some of the most attractive women, really do not see themselves as all that attractive. Their noses are too long, too thin, their ears are too big, too small, uneven, they are too fat, too thin, etc. Also, you might not have as much competition as you think. In my college days I was shocked to discover that the two hottest cheerleaders were sitting at home alone on Friday nights, most guys just assumed that their book was full, and were afraid to ask them out, as they were sure that they would be rejected. As I was too learn later, this was more common than one would think. This in turn made them question their attractiveness, see the first paragraph As it turned out, quite often muy competiton was from older, and quite often married men. More later

If you idolize her, she won't respect you. You have to consider yourself just as much of a catch, and don't act like she's any better than you. She has to consider you on her level in order to make it last. Don't give her the impression that you are not on her level. Don't give her the impression (and don't assume) that she has all these guys falling all over her. And don't be complimenting her constantly on her looks either. Just once in a while.
