She would never respond if I invited her to go out and do something. I erased her number because she doesn't appreciate my effort. I met another woman through a friend. We exchanged numbers and we talk through text mostly, though she has answered my calls. We have flirted, but she doesn't seem to get that I'm interested regardless of how obvious I make it through flirting. I'm guessing she flirts with all guys, so I shouldn't feel special. I don't really talk to her any more. Are most women like this? Either extremely distant with no interest or flirty with no interest? This all happened when I visited my hometown last week. I've moved to go to college and it seems like the women here are more difficult than there. It may just be my bad luck however. Also, my friend and I have been trying to meet women and have went all over the city to try to find them. We usually only find girls that are too young or couples. We don't really know where to find women in their 20's or 30's. We've tried ice skating, restaurants, bookstores, and other things I can't remember right now. I've tried parties and clubs, but those are bad places to meet women through my own experience. We're not sure what to do to meet them. We're considering going to a casino to try to meet women. Our goal is to find a woman to date and for a possible relationship.
KathyM Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Join a gym. Lots of women go there, and they tend to be in good shape and have a lot of self dicipline. Take a dance class. Lots of women in those as well. Get involved in a church (assuming you are religious). Lots of very nice young women there.

I used to go to one and none of the women looked approachable. It may be that I don't know when a woman is approachable though. I'm planning on taking a Salsa class once school's back in. Hopefully, that would work.

If you're a nice guy that has a lot of things going for him, a lot of women would be interested. Just hang around the equipment where she's working out, and strike up a conversation.
