:( i know i shouldnt be doing this but i check his fb profile he blocked me when he broke up with me but i saw it throught a friends profile...his been putting comments on random girls pictures like "gorgeous" "sexxy;)" "ur beautiful" and one of his status was like "living the single life":( :( i know were not together he dumped me..but still :( it hurts..i really thought he was gonna contact me by now..its been 2 weeks...i have this feeling the he wanted to break up with me long time ago..idk :( he said he loves me and that i was the best thing that happened to him, but it was best to go our own ways cuz he didnt want to hurt me(itwas ldr and i told him we needed to spend more time together)why do guys do stuff like that? its like breaking up with someone doesnt even hurt them at all

velvet, it actually hurts more if they do contact you then if they dont. If they were emotionally attached it hurts. Hes probably posting that crap to hide his insecurities.

It's not a guy thing, it's just a dumper thing. When you leave someone it's because being single (or being with someone else) is a better prospect than being with the person you're with. So it's not a huge loss. There might be moments of sadness, and every situation is different, and yes every once in a blue moon some dumper does realise that he or she made a big mistake and comes begging and crying for redemption, but it's generally not that traumatic for them. If it were, and they were as hurt about it as you are, they wouldn't be leaving. Talk to some of the guys here who have been casually abandoned at the flick of a switch by their ex-girlfriends and you'll see it's a pretty universal phenomena.

its like if he was a completely different person right now! ughh its like i never even existed for him nowand we were together almost a year! :/

Velvet, your ex is a jacka*s. If a guy ever comments "beautiful" and "sexy" on my FB pictures, I immediately write them off as as*holes.

You dated an as*hole; join the club. It happens to the best of us. You will get over him, I PROMISE.
