quietGuy13
I found a nice find in craiglist. A job as a lab tech NO EXPERIENCE!!!! So i called and they told me that yes it's with no experience necessary but that its part time. If i let's say i get it. Then my unemployment money would end and i would get 12 x 5 = 60 dollars a day = 60 x 5 = 300 dollars a week. Which means it would be even less than what i get from unemployment. The salary said Negotialbe but in this example i put 12/hr. And they said that job it's PT, not something that could turn into full time. I would be fine doing 2 PT jobs, if that's what it takes in this economy But problem is it doesn't mean i will find that 2nd PT job soon. So i would have to live with 300 per week, which is less than my unemployement. Should i take it and keep looking for another PT job to supplement. OR should i just skipt the whole PT thing and wait to find a Fulltime one. But there's not many Fulltime ones around these days. So....
Lucky_One
I would advise you to take it. This is exactly how people get experience for other jobs, and this is how they advance in current companies, and this is how they discover what interests them (or not) in a career path. Being part-time also gives you more time to schedule your therapist visits, and your speech theray appts, and go to school. It's the best thing for you, I think.
