It's amazing that 6 weeks in, I still have to wake up every morning in complete shock that the person I love and the years we shared are gone.

How are yall feeling this morning?

A tiny bit down as my gf and I had to break up yesterday since she is gonna have to move away...we werent in love, but I was starting to fall for her and IM sure she was too; it was pretty shocking

Time to go for a run here soon to take my mind off of her and clear my head

Mornings are tough, and in terms of that deadening feeling of pure loss, they are the very last thing to go. But that feeling does go, and I am living proof of that. Not more than two weeks ago I was writing on a similar thread about how terrible mornings are, and now seeing this one I realise I've finally stopped thinking about my ex every morning on wake up. He's now relegated to the odd, passing day-dream once or twice a day. Soon those thoughts too shall pass.

First thing in the head every morning without fail will still be her and the lost love we once had. But I guess, it's getting easier to cope day by day.

I've also just posted a thread similar to this..

That feeling never fails. Every single morning. I try to trick myself into thinking of something else.
