catface Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Im so depressed my ex moved out 4 week ago, he tells me he loves me, but says he cant come see me. all I can think about is how good it was in begining when he would drive 2 hours to see me, now he wont. why does he text, flirt, call but wont get back with me. he made me happy and I belived he loved me. im so down and ive tryed begging ignoring and he called last night and said he will see me, and take it slow i told him a lad been chatting me up and sent a pic of the lad to my ex, he went mad and said evil nasty things to me, then said sorry but he is now ignoring me again. I tryed getting him jealous in the hope he would want to be with me. confused and want advice please, I want to marry him and he said he did too. Im 28 h is 40. x

Im 28 h is 40. x Sorry, I thought you were a lot younger when you said you were trying to make him jealous by sending pictures of other guys. Sending a picture of another guy to manipulate your ex into coming back to you. Doesn't work. Just backfires on you. Don't ever pull those types of tactics. If you have to dangle another man infront of you ex to make him come back to you, what does that tell you about your relationship? He should want to be with you without you having to manipulate him to come back. He wants the perks of a relatioship without really investing in it. So he flirts, texts, calls from a distance to get the little thrills but does not want to fully invest in anything more than that. He sees your desperation and it's easy for him to manipulate you and get what he wants on his terms. Stop begging and pleading. It's unattractive. The only thing you are doing is pushing him away. Trust me, the more you chase, the more he will run. People tell each other they want to get married all the time. It doesn't always work out that way.
