Earlier I had posted a threat " http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t287366/" about how my best friend told me how my ex told her husband " they are also best friends" that after he gave him the news that I will be moving 2000 miles away from home that he won't like to ever get back into a relationship with me, but instead he just wants to F**k me"

 

Just a few hours ago he had text me again for the first times in weeks, this is how the convo went.

 

Him: " You home?"

Me: "No, but if it's about the groupon and envelope then you could leave it in my mailbox. Besides that, there is no need for us to communicate."

Him: " I rather hand it to you in person:

Me: "Just keep the groupon"

Him "Very well"

 

I felt so confident and strong sending this to him, but then earlier when I spoke to my sister she had told me that he had probably said that to his friends cause that's "guy talk" on how vulgar they are with anything sexual. Also that he is using that as an excuse so when he were to contact me to regret the break up he won't seem as a wuss cause they will think he is just trying to "f**k me"

 

Now I'm just tormenting myself with the fact that he wanted to see me and apologize for everything he has put me through and I shut him down. Did I do the right thing? I think I'm having a tiny relapse

i agree with the guys talk thing...this is quite possible..he could hv daid that without actually meaning to.

I am thinking, however, that if he knew about this misunderstanding, he would hv insisted hard to have a one on one conversation with you.. he would'nt have just texted you, may be tried to call u, or may be explained the whole situation over the text/email.

Or, why don't u contact him now( iknow, its a little jolt on ur ego, but would at least give u some closure) and ask him why he wanted to meet u.
