saintolaf Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 I know that it's usually said as a preface to breakups, but what does this mean when it's said AFTER you've broken up with somebody? Does it mean an agreement to the breakup or a chance that they might reconcile with you?

Now what you have to do in this situation is get out of her life completely and move on. You have to go NC and work on healing from the breakup and moving on and not talking to your ex again. If you keep her around in your life, shes going to use you as a security blanket

There most likely is someone else they are interested in and if that doesn't work you will be back up. DO NOT DO THAT! You have a better chance at reconcilliation if you completely disappear from his life. If they want to take their chance with the other person, let them. Either way you will not be able to stop it. Show your worth and leave, let them learn first hand. By disappearing you give the dumper an opportunity to miss you, respect how strong you are and they know they cannot string you along!
