PelicanPete Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 Trying to gain weight has always been very hard for me. I'm 20 years old, 6'2", 167lb, with about 12% BF. I have a very fast metabolism which makes putting on even a pound a big deal for me, and keeping it on an even bigger challenge. I have a high muscle to weight ratio and I don't mind by size, but I want to add a few pounds so that I can progress with my fitness goals. Any methods to naturally slow down your metabolism? Thanks.
Afishwithabike Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Have you had your thyroid checked? A friend of mine had a hyperactive thyroid and one of his symptoms was he couldn't keep weight on easily.
