Damien Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Well, I've started posting here a lot more recently and instead of answering other's questions / problems I thought I'd share today's experience with you all. --- So this afternoon I had an interview (my very first!) and as you can expect I was pretty damn nervous but I did my very best not to show it outside. There were around 20-30 of us at that time all sitting for our interviews and I saw a really cute girl walk into the room - the kind thatmakes your jaw want to drop. Surprisingly the interview was a blurr, I was confident answered every question well and flew through it with ease. I set off home once it was over and the girl from before was waiting at the bus stop standing besides me. Now I can tell you one thing: I have no clue how I did this next part! I turned to her and initiated a conversation, said "hello my name is Damien, what's yours? ^^" (And so on). We talked thoughout the whole journey home, even sat next to each other on the bus and exchanged phone numbers. The stop I had to get off passed but I stayed behind and got off along with her, said our goodbyes and shook hands (hilarious I know). Walked off, turned back to each other and smiled. Why am I posting this? I honestly have no clue. I soul-search and reflect on my actions a lot and I'm still trying to figure out how I pulled that off. I'm a 21 year old asian male with no experience at 'picking up' girls (Didn't even have to do this with the past 2 GFs), have lost contact with most of my Real-Life friends, I loathe the way I look and keep thinking I'm going to get nowhere in life. Yet today was different, what the hell!
soulm8 Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 thanks for sharing Damien. Good for you for stepping out of your comfort zone and approaching her.
