lost1 Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 Me and my boyfriend have been going out for almost 2 years, and during the first year i was excited that we would be able to go out to a... i don't know what to call it (don't remember) but all the rides and stuff, and doing other things that might have been fun together. Anyways, he refused to go because his ex would be there, and everything is the same if it is anything that he did with his ex he will not take me. We haven't really done anything fun that isn't videos games. And this is making me feel bad, and i don't know what to do anymore.

Does he realise that by not letting go of his relationship with his ex he is ruining his relationshipwith you? Try and talk to him about these things. No wonder you feel bad. If he won't make the effort why not find someone else you can be happy with?

Go somewhere neither one of you has been. That way, anytime either one of you goes to that place you'll remember the first time u went, and most importantly and significantly, who you had that first experience with (each other) =)
